Gnu Gala Auction to benefit the New London Area Center for the Arts

The Gnu Gala Auction, which culminates the summer-long "Gnus on View," will take place at the Lake Sunapee Country Club in New London on Sunday, October 11th, starting at 5:30 p.m.  Tickets -- which include dinner and the auction are $75 each and are available through the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce. Please call (603) 526-6575 for more information. Also available at Morgan Hill Book Store.  The tickets are tax-deductible, and are limited.

Bids on the Gnus start at $2500 each, except for "Rita GnuBook" by Tomie DePaola, and Tony Walton's "The Last of the Blue-Gnuewted Gnus," which start at $5000 each. Again, the price is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We will be accepting bids through our website as well, although there will not be live bidding available unless you attend the auction, so please, if you do bid online, make it your highest offer.

To place an ad in the auction booklet, please contact Erin Tracey at (603) 477-9255

I have a g-nu.
It likes to g-naw and chew.
I like rap, it likes to wrap.
It doesn't k-now how to turn a door k-nob.
It only k-nows to k-nock.
